This is not true. I have always selected only a portion of the graphics
filters when doing an installation (custom option). No problems have been
encountered with Office 95 or Office 97. It is possible that some
combination of choices may give trouble, but I have not seen it.

anything.  All of the graphic filter files and registry entries are still
there and they all still appear in the import dialog.  It appears that one
cannot install a subset of the graphic filters at all ... It appears to be
all or none despite what the documentation claims.
