Hi Emie,
I just looked at my daughters ME machine and from the start menu it is in
"Programs", "Accessories". Easy as pie! As to wheather or not DOS is
vanishing in Windows, in it has from XP for the most part, but one can still
get to a "Command" prompt. Not the same as DOS though.

Hello all,

A friend asked me yesterday, "How and where can i access the DOS or 'C'
prompt in WinMe?" I am using Windows '98 s/e so, I have no way of finding
out but refer this question to you guys hoping that you, WinMe users, can
give me an idea?

In line with the above question... does WinMe even carry DOS at all? (I
know Win'98 s/e does.) Is DOS now a vanishing specie in Windows world? I
will appreciate any information shared with me. TIA !!

Emie
