You might want to look at xxcopy from www.xxcopy.com . I use it for exact
copying of one drive to another and then I use it for incremental weekly
backups. I have used it to make an exact copy from an old drive to a new
drive. The site has detailed directions that can be printed out. I have
never had a problem with it. And best of all, it is freeware.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Hard drive image software
Can anyone offer opinions on which hard drive imaging software to use. I
want to make regular backups of my complete computer at least once a week. I
also want the ability to restore my computer with the backup without having
to go through all the software installation.
I am trying to decide between:
Symantec's "Ghost 2003" http://www.symantec.com/sabu/ghost/ghost_personal/
or "Trans XP" http://www.itechs-systems.com/pages/txg.htm
