All Pentium-class CPUs, and almost all 486s, have the floating-point
co-processor integrated on the CPU.
Intel's FPU implementation includes pipelining to enhance
performance. There are a few popular 3-D games that make extensive use
of flaoting-point instructions, and will offer disappointing
performance on FPUs that do not have this Intel-proprietary
enhancement. This should not interfere with operation of the game,
only with the speed of screen updates.
