I have a user who accidentally compressed their windows/system folder w/ Drive Space.  Immediately thereafter, they lost communication w/ their printer and the sound card quit working.  I sucessfully uncompressed everything, but still no printer response or sound.  Checked control panel/hardware info, and nothing seems awry...no question marks or any device problems indicated.  My thought is to reinstall windows w/o wiping the disk....  any other suggestions?
