Spyware Blaster and Spybot are similar in that they are both spyware eliminators. After you've configured them and when you first run them you'll see a warning that your access to certain spyware sites may be affected.
This is nothing to worry about, of course. The process is part of the benefit of using these apps.
Spyware Guard is a different type of program - it's job is to prevent your browser from being hijacked. So, if you currently logon to Aunty Spencer's Cookie Emporium as your home page, you're not going to be suddenly surprised one day when you start Internet Explorer and find yourself locked into Trucker's Metallica Porn Fetish.

Now install Spyware Blaster 2.6.1 and Spyware Guard 2.2.
Update and run both apps and you should be (and stay) pretty clean.
Note: If it's a new system, don't bother about SpyBot - it's best use is as a Terminator for existing problems and
a new system shouldn't have any.

I already had both those programs D\L but was afraid to install, as I didn't know what to expect.I went ahead and
installed them. I learned about them from the S&B forum.
Now will they have any effect on me going to web site or anything like that?
