You can also open CONTROL PANEL click on INTERNET OPTIONS, then the PROGRAMS
tab, then go down the page to Default web browser, you can set IE as the
default here.

Yes, just go to Control Panel > Set Program Access and Defaults
Or some have this om the Start Menu , then select Custom settings.
(expand the pane if closed - chevrons on the right)
Select the default browser as IE.
That's it.
