There are several ways that you can get "bounce" messages for mail you're
not aware of sending:
1. The message may have been sent by malware or a virus on your machine.
2. The message may have been sent by soemone, such as a spammer, who used
your address as the From: return address.
3. There are several viruses that, when they send themselves out via email,
set the From: address to something found in the address book of the infected
machine. Perhaps someone you once exchanged email with has such a virus on
their machine.
4. One of the ways the recent "Swen" virus tries to spread itself is by
generating a fake "bounce" message. Something special in this message tries
to take advantage of unpatched versions of Outlook.
Note that case 1 (which you seem to have already eliminated) is the only
one you can really do anything about.
