I'm not sure just which of the groups, pcsoft or pcbuild this fits into,
but it's a problem I have and I assume must be common and distressing.
Pictures that I'v downloaded (jpegs and the like) or photos that I've
scanned develop streaks, blackouts, color deterioration and the like.
What might the cause(s) be and what can I (we) do about it?
