I have some questions concerning patches for Y2K. Specifically patches
from the Microsoft web site.

I understand the use of patches to upgrade Windows 95 for the year 2000
but why do we need patches to upgrade MS Office 97 to version 97 SR-2?
Or what is the answer to changing the regional settings to reflect a
four digit year? It was my understanding that Win95/8 understands four
digits anyhow.

On other matters do we really have to update Lotus Notes to version
4.5+?

How about Win 3.1 and Win For Workgroups 3.11? I know there's a patch
for Win for Workgroups 3.11.

Many questions and so little time to fix.

Dick
