I got this from netscape help to fix this problem......... hopefully
you may not have to reinstall the OS.

Problem:
When using or starting Communicator, the following error occurs:

Invalid Page Fault in Kernel32.DLL

Solution:

Invalid Page Faults and General Protection Faults in Kernel32.DLL are
generally caused by a lack of system resources, out of date video
drivers, or a corrupt swap/paging file. If you encounter the problem
on a regular basis while using Communicator or Navigator, the
following instructions should help resolve the problem:

Step 1: If the kernel32.dll error occurs before Navigator or
Communicator opens, it is likely that the cause is a corrupt User
profile or other preferences.

For Communicator:
Create a new profile to resolve the problem. To do so:

1. Shut down Communicator.
2. Go to the Start menu and choose Programs, Netscape Communicator,
Utilities, User Profile Manager.
3. Create a new profile for yourself using all of the information
from your old profile (i.e. Mail server settings) except make sure to
name the profile something different so that it doesn't overwrite
your old profile.
4. Check to make sure that the new profile is working. If it is you
can shut down Communicator.
5. Open up Explorer, go to your User directory (C:\Program
Files\Netscape\Users\) and then the old profile name, and copy the
Mail folder, the News folder, the bookmark.htm file, and the
abook.nab file, and any .na2 files into the new profile directory.
6. Check to make sure that everything is working and then go back to
the User Profile Manager to delete your old profile.
7. If Communicator is still crashing when you start it, you may have
a corrupt Plug-in Folder.
In Windows Explorer, go to C:\Program
Files\Netscape\Communicator\Program and rename the Plugins folder to
Oldplug.

For Navigator:

You may have a corrupt address.htm file, bookmark.htm file, a corrupt
Plug-in folder, or a corrupt Mail folder.

1. Shut down Netscape.
2. Using Windows Explorer go into your Navigator directory (by
default it is usually C:\Program Files\Netscape\Navigator) and rename
the Mail folder to Oldmail, address.htm to address.old, and the
bookmark.htm to bookmark.old.
3. In C:\Program Files\Netscape\Navigator\Program rename the Plugins
folder to Oldplug
4. Remove both the Cache folder and the netscape.hst file.
5. When you restart Netscape, a new Mail folder, Plugin folder,
address book, bookmark file, Cache folder and History file will be
automatically created for you.
6. Check to make sure that the new items are working and that
Netscape is no longer crashing.

To import your Mail, bookmarks, and addresses back in:

Mail:

Shut down Netscape, go to the Oldmail folder, and copy any of the
mail folders you wish to keep (i.e. Inbox) into your new Mail folder.

Bookmarks:

Go to the Bookmarks menu. In the Bookmark window go to the File menu,
choose Import, and select bookmark.old to import the old file into
your current bookmark file.
Address Book:

Go to the Address Book menu. In the Address Book window go to the
File menu, choose Import, and select address.old to import the old
file into your current address book file.

Step: 2 Finally, make sure that Windows is configured to handle
virtual memory (unless you are an advanced users who has configured a
static swap file).

1. Click the Start button and select Settings, then Control Panel.
2. In the Control Panel window, double-click the System icon.
3. Click the Performance tab and then click the Virtual Memory
button.
4. Click "Let Windows manage my virtual memory settings
(recommended)".
5. Click OK as prompted until you return to the Control Panel window.

Faults (IPF), system crashes occuring in Microsoft Windows or if the

A Kernel 32.dll error is a windows error...depending on what version
of
windows you are using...but i would suggest that you problably have
to
re-install windows....kernel is one of the main DLL's....library link
files....usually when you are getting a kernel32
error....re-installing
windows is the answer...

Netscape 4.7, which I am very satisfied with, except lately
it "crashes" sometimes. The error message < KERNEL32.DLL >
and I have to "restart" to fix the problem. Does anyone
know whats causing this, OR how to fix it?
