I installed the Win98 upgrade on a brand new hard drive. So it is deninetly
fresh. Reinstalling my aps from CD and changing options to point to correct
drive/subdirectory is no big deal.
I got around to MS Publisher97 and although the install went OK, the ap won't
run, giving me a startup msg "Invalid Page Fault in Kernel32.dll". Solid
failure.
Going to MS site, find it has a workaround to replace existing new
"Msvcrt40.dll " file with one from Publisher CD installation. Doing that
results in Publisher working, but Win98 complains up the cazoo about lots of
other stuff and then many other ap wont run. Obviously not good.
Short of buy Publisher 98, is there a better fix?
