I use Pegasus, and recent versions seem to deal well with most HTML mail.

I believe (this would be Bob's call) that HTML mail is a violation of
the list rules. It has been some time since I've noticed any here --
maybe Pegasus is doing a better job of hiding them than I thought!
Unfortunately, I don't know of any mail client that understands what
to do with such attachments in digests -- the combination just doesn't
work very well.
I've seen utilities that would "explode" a digest into separate
messages, but I'm not sure how that's better than a non-digest
subscription in the first place.
