I had recently asked the list how I could
get my desktop icons to list FORWARDS again.
I don't think too many people have this
happen the way it happened to me. Thanks for
all the normal "user settings" type of replies.
I never found the cause of the problem, but
I think it was a buggy "prank" program.
The answer turned out to be: Uninstall MSIE.
Reinstall MSIE. This cleaned up whatever
had "trashed" my desktop icon placements.

PS: In the uninstall of MSIE4.01-sp1,
all my Outlook Express mail was NOT lost.
On start up, it found and rebuilt the
mail folders.
