To my knowledge, the features you ask about are only on Outlook 98. Outlook
97 is one of the default selections on Office 97 install. To avoid
"clobbering" Outlook 98 during an Office reinstall, I must always choose
custom and deselect the check box besides Outlook 97. If I forget, I need to
grab the Outlook 98 CD.
Your friend must have gotten it from some somewhere. Just reinstall it. It
won't care if there is Outlook 97.
