Tools - Options - Send tab - look for Mail Sending Format, then choose either Plain Text Settings or HTML Settings
button. ( I do both exactly the same, as follows...)

"Automatically wrap text at 115 characters when sending"

You may need to adjust the number up or down a little to get it right. hth
