Re: email verification programs, and the recent suggestion to use
MailWasher. I also recommend MailWasher, and I've used MailWasher Pro for
some time. It includes options for reporting "First Alert" and "SpamCop."
However, I am now trying a program recommended by PC Magazine called
OnlyMyEmail (www.onlymyemail.com). Like MailWasher it is not a verification
program but for $3.00 per month after a free 10 day trial period is doing a
fantastic job of catching ALL spam and with minimal (3) false positives
(said it was spam and it wasn't). It integrates nicely with my BellSouth
account and Outlook, and since I'm on the road much of the time, it's great
for checking email from their website v. BellSouth's webmail.
Here's the link to PC Mag's 4.5 rating:

I know this isn't a verification program but is worth looking at if spam is
the problem.
