Gotta love them folks that "hand" things off!  I won't speculate on what
may be wrong.
But, I will suggest copying ALL the floppies to the hard drive in a single
directory, then using easyCDcreator (no doubt you're going to get many
folks telling you to use another program but if ECDC works, use it!!!  It
works fine for me.)
So, just drag that newly created directory from THE HARD DRIVE onto your
blank CD and see if that won't work!

Thank goodness CDs are cheap these days...
