Thank You for all of the responses,

However:

This error was occurring on an existing Win2000 install running IE 5.0,
then running IE5.5 and now on a clean install of Win2000 running IE 5.0. I
have found references to this happening when you open a new link in an
existing window then close the original, but I get it randomly whether I do
that or not. It also happens after I have had IE minimized for awhile and
am working in excel although it doesn't mess with excel any. I have set
all BIOS settings to conservative levels such as CAS latency back down to
3, even though I don't hop up my BIOS too much and my memory is rated at
2. I've tried to repair IE but that did not work either as I still receive
the errors.

Anybody think it would be because of the dual boot? 2000/ME was
2000/98SE all clean installs.

I dunno.

Thanks

David A. Abbe
