Anne,
How many files are you talking about? Zero size files only occupy a very
little amount of space which depends on the hard disk size and how it is
formatted. These files would literally have to be in the very high
thousands in quantities to take up a few Megs of space. With modern HD's in
Gigabytes that shouldn't be a problem on a "percentage-of-hard-disk-used"
basis. If you have thousands of these files simply select them in Windows
Explorer and delete. You should be able to select them very fast but
depending on your computer it may take a while before they are off the HD.
Go get a cup of coffee and come back later. The problem should be solved.
If this doesn't work then let me know your computer statistics (HD Size and
format, FAT or FAT32 etc., Processor (Pentium 2 3 or 4 etc.) and speed in
Megabytes or Gigabytes and also the number of files you want to delete.
