Dan:

A number of my clients were experiencing 'strange' problems
with their new computers.  Lockup's, GPF's, etc.  They were
blaming Win 98.  After much investigation the culprit turned out
to be the REAL-TEK combo network cards.  Replacing these
network cards with a different brand of card solved MANY
problems and their systems are now stable.
