Actually CNET's Michael Kanellos has printed an updated article at
http://www.news.com/News/Item/0,4,34772,00.html
that says that Microsoft is not going to charge for bug fixes and will sell
the feature upgrade to Win98 users for a reduced price from their web site.
The price mentioned is "less than $30." For a lot of people the shared
internet connection feature will be worth that. I paid $50 for software
that does the same thing.
