Goback retains information only for so long as the space you give it on your hard drive allows it to store information. If you had a dedicated hard drive of many gigabytes, it probably could store info that long, but most people give it enough space for about a week, and for typical use that would be about 10% of the available space on the drive. I don't think Goback would work with information 6 months old since it restores all files on the drive, not just system files.
