There is a fairly complex procedure needed for copying files across from an
old folder to a new location. So complex that I won't even go into it
unless all else fails.

However, there are a couple of workarounds:

Change the message store location with: Tools\Options\Maintenance\Store
Folder button
Navigate to the old file location. But if you do this, process any existing
mail first, as this procedure changes the location of your mail files.

Alternatively, install a program like eBackup (highly recommended).
However, you'd need to install it and get it running on the old machine or
drive first, to be able to create a backup that could be resurrected on your
new machine.
