Thanks, did what you said and rebooted and now it's still there. It's on
my start menu and says "Log Off and my name".

Dear Listers,
I reinstalled Win98se and now I have Log Off on my Start bar. How do I
get rid of it.
Thanks.

Hi,
If you go into Network Properties, and change the setting from Client
for Microsoft Networks to Windows Logon, it should get rid of the logoff
option.(might need a reboot)
