Dianne, Hi.
Yes, you can safely delete everything in those two folders, but you won't be
able to do the TIF files while you're in Windows - that's why the batchfile
takes you into DOS.
And as I said, you need to check that the paths described in either the
short or long batchfiles, are the same paths that your computer is using.

The deletion of Temporary Internet Files and Cookies is a confusing
business - but there are some good explanations to be found on the net if
you use Google, or some equally effective search engine.

I've run that batchfile for some time with the 'Cookies' section set to
delete the entire cookies folder, and not just the cookies index.

It does make logging on to some of your sites more time consuming, but with
Windows set to remember your username and password, it's not too much of a
bind.
