Linda,
With an older computer, the error you are getting can also be caused by heat build-up in the case.
If you haven't done so already, you might want to have your computer cleaned. Most shops will do
this for a fair price if you're not comfortable opening your computer. However, if you attempt this
yourself, I would strongly recommend unplugging the power cord(s), and using a static strap to
ground yourself to the case - static electricity can be hazardous to many internal components -
especially hard drives. Some people carefully vacuum the dusty components, but a can of compressed
air can also do a nice cleaning job. Best of luck.

---Original message---
Recently I have been getting an error message when I first turn on my computer. It just happens
occasionally.
The background is bright blue with pale letters saying:
A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0137:BFF71556. The current application will be terminated.
Press any key to continue or Press Control,Alt and Delete.
I have to hit the reset button for the computer to come on. After that everything seems to work
fine. Can anyone help? I have a 3 year old computer which about 4 months ago was upgraded from 166
to 333. I also added a new CD RW when the old one went bad. Thanks for any help. Linda Crawford
