My imgio program which I use to view .bmp files and other images has
become corrupt. It will show the image but then I get the message "This
program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down." Then it
says if the problem continues, contact the vendor.
I don't know how to trouble shoot this problem.
I have a Dell Dimension XPS P166s with 63 megs of ram, running Win 98. I
tried re installing imgio.exe from some software that has the file
(Calendar Creator for Windows 95), but this did not help.
I would appreciate any help.

Also when I locate imgio.exe and open a file from the application itself I
do not get the error message. But, if I use "find" to locate *.bmp files
and open them alone, I get the error message. I put a shortcut to the
application on my desktop and can open the .bmp files from inside the
application without error.
When I try to launch a picture/image file from my Agent news reader I get
the same error.
Below are the "details" of the error.
Thanks,
Mary
