Recently my computer has been coming up with the following error:

It happens sometimes after I shut down my computer and re-boot the next day even if it was working fine the day before.  It also happens when I am trying to make a CD in my CD writer.  Sometimes half way thru the process the computer will shut down by itself and then reboot so naturally the CD I was trying to make is now no good.  Then when it reboots a window comes up saying the system has recovered from a serious error.  It has happened at other times also but can't recall what I was doing at the time.

If anyone knows of a fix for this problem I sure would appreciate it.
