Jane,
Here are two methods to copy selected items. First, select (highlight) the
portion of a message or the item (graphic, etc.) that you want to copy. To
do this, left click and HOLD at the beginning of the text, drag the cursor
to the end of the copy, and release. An easy way if the text is long and you
have to scroll, is to left click at the beginning, scroll and place the
cursor at the end of what you want to copy, and while holding down the Shift
key, left click again.
Once you have it highlighted, right click on it and select "Copy". Or, a
keyboard shortcut is to press and hold the "Ctrl" key and hit the letter "C"
(Ctrl+C).
The Windows Clipboard will only hold one item at a time. If you do a lot of
copying and pasting you may want to check out these two programs:
Yankee Clipper III (Freeware)
