Hi Tressie,
You probably have bad sectors in your harddrive or disk. Corrupted files are
not neccessary coming from virus. If you can not undo them, you might as well
delete them.

I did a scandisk in safe mode, ran defragmenter, and ran HouseCall again and
got same result.
