You don't necessarily need a hard return. A soft return (created by
shift-Enter) does not create a new paragraph, yet it can have a tab in the
beginning of the line. In this way, you can maintain the paragraph alignment
without making new adjustments. That soft return is similar in some ways to
the < BR > command in HTML.
