I believe the "Kerio Firewall" I'm familiar with is a GUI wrapper around a
Linux firewall program. It wouldn't surprise me at all that a Windows
conversion of such a beast would be less than 100% reliable on Windows 98.
I haven't had any problem with Zone Alarm, but I mostly use the Norton
Internet Security Firewall -- I've used it since before Symantec bought it
(it was originally a shareware product called AtGuard)! -- on Windows 98SE,
2000, and XP.
