Kathleen,

WPS is one of several identifiers for MS Works files.
Zipped files typically have a ZIP extension.

The only person who can give you a 100% accurate
answer about what kind of file it is, is the person who
sent it to you.

There used to be a web site that listed file extensions
I am not sure if it is still active ---- www.whatis.com
