Recently I had to reload MS Oulook Express 5.0. Unfortunately, I couldn't
get it to reinitialize after reinstalling so I had to uninstall it and go to
the registry and rip out all of the hooks/entries for OUTLOOK EXPRESS.
Anyway, I went to the Microsoft Website looking for the same version but it
was no longer available. Instead I was forced and I do mean FORCED to
upgrade my IE 5.0 and Outlook Express at the same time to 5.50. Everything
installed OK except now at the bottom of Outlook Express is a Microsoft Spam
Bar that takes up about 1/4 of my availabe desktop space and there is no way
apparent to control the view and get rid
of this space eating eyesore.
Anyone know how to edit the registry to get rid of this new addition
Microsoft saw fit to force on everyone?

TIA
