Hi,
        I don't know about Software, but for around $50-55 Insight (
http://www.insight.com ) carries a Promise IDE Raid 1 controller card.  If
you don't mind opening the case, this might be a solution (you can also
get, for around $200-210, the card with two hotswapable bays (they fit in
the 5 1/4 slot but use a 3 1/2 HD).
