Betty: If none of the other suggestions (Mike Harrison/resizing) work you
best bet is too:
1. Boot up in safe mode. Hold down the ctrl key during bootup and when the
bootup menu appears choose Safe Mode ( it should be number 3 or 4) by using
the the down arrow key to highlight this choice then pressing enter.
2. Once in safe mode, (you'll know you are in safe mode by the words 'safe
mode' appearing in the corners of your screen) press start, then select
settings, then the control panel.
3.. Now the control panel should appear. Select display, then the third tab
Appearance.
4. Here click standard or normal window. This will be one of the 'greyed
out' windows as the 'active window will be 'large'.
5. Then click ok or apply and restart your computer as normal. This should
restore the standard Windows.
You can if you want to try shorten this process by right clicking on the
desktop and going staright to step four. You may find this too awkward and
be better off doing it the long way.
Best of luck,
Richard Innes
