Good morning,

Further on this problem: now, whenever I try to open IE I get the
following:

Internet Explorer error message: mainAutomation Server can't create object

Then, it gives a "This page cannot be displayed" error on everything
selected. At the bottom of this page it says, "Cannot find server or
DNS error"

I do not have IE selected as my default internet browser. Could it be
that it's feelings are hurt and it won't work at all because it isn't
the default selection?

I tried to look under view/toolbars and I don't see anything there that
is ISP related.

I also tried the program that [log in to unmask] recommended. Thanks! It
looks like a good program to have but it would not touch the persistent
peoplepc toolbar.

I tried downloading a whole new IE6 SP1 but it will not not let me do
that, either. After I download the setup file and run it, it gives the
same DNS error as above and refuses to run. I tried running it from the
Microsoft site and it will not run from there, either. I got suspicious
after that and checked my antivirus program, AVG Pro, and is has found
nothing on my system.
