Try right-clicking the drive, select Properties, autoplay tab and select
the action you desire. Scroll down for various actions. Doesn't always
work, but might help.
You might find a fix on the Windows Annoyances website. It's a common
fault. I think there's a registry entry somewhere to set it, not sure
where. System Restore might help if it ever was working.
