I have long used Outlook Express as my mail program but am considering
moving up to the full Outlook for a number of reasons. There is one thing I
have been unable to set up and would like some advice.

I can set Outlook to check for e-mail at defined intervals (e.g. every 10
minutes) but cannot find a setting that forces Outlook to check for mail as
soon as it is started. I have to manually press the Send/receive button.
Every other mail program I have used (Outlook Express, Eudora etc) all check
for mail as soon as the program is first started. How do I make Outlook 2000
do this?

It's a small thing, but an annoying thing :)

Thanks in advance.
