Can someone tell me how I can determine what software is being loaded when I
start my machine? It seems to be taking forever lately and I think I need
to
eliminate some things from loading but don't know how.

Thanks!

Hi Darlene,

I have a wonderful utility called Startup Cop 1.0.1.0 from Ziff Davis. It
shows you all the things that start up and the file associations. You can
choose to disable them or delete them permanently and it's done in a very
safe way so that you can restore them if things aren't working as they
should.
The best thing is it's free and I'm sure you could find it easily by
searching for it. I'm sorry I don't have the address.

Joan
