Lorraine,
First you have to un install your Kodak program, and then reinstall it.
When it asks do you want to install the Automatic Update to your PC click
"NO". I by mistake installed their Automatic Update program the first time
I installed the Kodak program. Adaware and Spybot both reported "Backweb
Program" as spyware. It may not be spyware as used by Kodak, but I do not
like any program that downloads and installs automatically. I uninstalled
the Kodak Program and made sure that I did not install Automatic Update. I
am quite happy with the program that came with the camera, and as they say
" If it's not broke, DON'T fix it".
I also disabled the Kodak Picture Transfer in the start menu, and placed a
Kodak Picture Transfer Icon in my Quick Launch bar, and start the program
manually.
I hope this helps.
George
Hi,
I got a message from my Virus software, that I have a virus. I ran my
virus program and it healed it, but now my digital camera won't transfer
pictures to my computer. Ths is the message I receive.... This program has
performed an operation and will be shut down.

What does this all mean? I have 24 pictures on my camera, that are very
important. It wants me to forget about a digital camera and go back to a
old trusty camera.
Please help,
Thank you,
Lorraine
