Hi David,
I don't believe you will be able to create another partition without loosing
some data, since you only have one primary partition, unless you use a
program like Partition Magic 4.0 (highly recommended).
If you can manage to divide your existing single primary partition into 2
partitions, you will then have at lease one primary (C:) and one extended
primary partition with logical partitions in it, such as D:, E.
You may want to forgo installing to a seperate partition and install it to
its own folder in your existing partition.
You can do several installs of Wxp to the same partition. Just call them
something different.
I installed after my W2k install and did not have to install any
applications (yet). All I had to do was go to Documents and Settings in my
W2k directory and copy the shortcuts from my Desktop folder and place them
in Wxp desktop. They all run just as if i installed them.
Let me know if you need help to create partitions if that is what you want
to do.
Have fun!

Where will you be in 100 years? If you don't know, I can tell you. (and its
not the grave). Write me.
