Hi Marianne,

I recently added a new drive to my system. First, I copied all the
contents of C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Mail\
(default location of OE files) to a new folder, then when first opening
OE I let it set the default location for storing messages. Next, I
simply copied all the files from the backup folder to OE's default. So
you should be able to copy your Address Book and Mail from the D:
location to the C: location.

Also, each message folder has a .idx and .mbx file (example: Drafts.idx,
Drafts.mbx) both are needed, and there are two other files that I'm not
sure about: folders.nch and pop3uidl.dat (sorry, I don't recall if I
copied these back).

Hope this was the answer you were looking for,
Michael.
