I also have a Compaq Presario 5660 with Windows 98 and it also "loses time." It
seems to happen worse when I am working in something that eats RAM, like using
Director 6.0 or if I am in a program that runs in DOS. I have heeded the
suggestion regarding automatic resetting, but I am really curious if anyone
knows what the actual *cause* is. (BTW - Otherwise, it's a great computer with
very few problems, despite having a first-run copy of Windows 98.)
