Hi Joyce,

Spybot....Search and Destroy has been a proven FREE product for over 5 years.  I first was introduced to it by PC WORLD, then I red about it on CNET.  I have used it faithfully since then and have never had any issues with it.  

I do however use a second malware program because with all of the malware and spyware out there, one program can NOT do it all.  My second choice is Spyware Blaster.  I did have Ad-ware but something happened with the software that I couldn't get resolved with the company so I do not use it any more.  They wanted me to purchase it to resolve the issue.

Unlike anti-virus programs. having more then one spyware/malware program is okay.  Not so with Anti-virus software.
