You haven't really said why you think this is a problem. It sounds
completely normal, given the small amount of system RAM you have
installed. By definition, web browsing involves creation (by download)
of large numbers of small files, and it's normal for Netscape to
eventually thrash the hard drive once its internal memory cache is used
up. Adding additional system RAM would probably be my first choice in
forestalling the inevitable hard drive activity that you find
objectionable.
