First a caveat.....
Do not mix DOS versions. Do not attempt to boot with a DOS 6 (or earlier)
boot disk and try to perform work on a Windows generation system.
With that said....
Neither of these programs modify or change filenames. You are safe running
either program in the DOS or Windows environment.
