Assuming you are using Outlook Express:
Select Tools.
Select Accounts.
Click on News tab.
Select your current news account from the list
Click on Properties.
Change your name on this dialog.

One point:  Once you've done this, you will have to put your real name
in messages posted to newsgroups that require use of your real name.
