Hello to all,
I am running a pentium 133, with 128m ram, Win98. Twice I installed IE5
Beta, and both times I kept getting "illegal activity, and must be shut
down". This is the only program that has given me this message
since I installed the extra ram.
Also, the scroll bar was very erratic, sometimes quickly scrolling down the
whole page at once.
I went back to Microsoft Windows Update site, chose "installed programs", or
"show all", and then was given the option to uninstall
Explorer5. This is the way I uninstalled it both times.
Since the finished version was released, I've downloaded it from MS.
Same problem as with the Beta. "illegal activity", AND "GPF". I removed
this one, too. Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Jackie Boone
